Strong colours – strong design
More colour variety in the kitchen design.
The new colours Sunrise, Midnight, Emerald and Coral by Villeroy & Boch open up additional scope for individual kitchen designs and stylish, aesthetic creations with high-quality ceramic sinks. Our bright colours are available for selected models and were created by the trendy product and interior designer, Gesa Hansen. She was inspired by nature and the seasons.
“Kitchens are increasingly turning into living spaces, they are no longer cool and sterile. Colour takes away the cold character of a kitchen sink and integrates it into the room. Using high-quality ceramics as part of emerging interior design trends gives us more freedom to be inspired, and at the same time opens up new combination options.”
– Gesa Hansen

Emerald
Emerald brings a fresh spring feel into homes and can be wonderfully combined with dark walnut countertops or furniture fronts. Grey sandstone and white mineral also perfectly show off the bold green. If you’d like to add additional shades of green, for example on feature walls, consider soft mint or vibrant forest green. The natural association with the lush green of the forest is further emphasised by rough textures such as raw concrete or matt metal.
Sunrise
Sunrise yellow brings summer into the kitchen. Combined with white oak, the warm yellow has a particularly fresh and friendly effect. In bright rooms, Sunrise works very well in combination with pastel colours. Strong contrasts, on the other hand, can created with black granite or marble. Warm woody brown gives designs a natural touch. Suitable colours for feature walls or accessories are lemon and sun yellow, which further bring out the shine of the ceramics.

Coral
The new Coral is a strong colour that, even on its own, adds intriguing accents to the kitchen. Inspired by colourful autumn leaves shimmering in golden light, Coral goes particularly well with light work surfaces and furniture made from, for example, grey limed oak, beige sandstone, white marble or light concrete. Soft pastels shades of rosé or a dark marsala conjure up atmospheric colour harmonies in the room. Gleaming copper creates attractive accents.
Midnight
Midnight blue is a winter colour – cool, but not cold. Combined with a gentle misty blue or a fine light grey, the rich blue is particularly expressive. Midnight is the perfect colour for decorating traditional white & blue furniture, for example, with a light concrete look base and a white worktop. Blue furniture fronts give rooms a maritime look. Light wood, such as oiled oak, brings warm tones to the setting, while yellow accessories add colourful accents.
