For all porcelain items from the Villeroy & Boch “Walk like an Elephant”, ”Roar like a Lion”, “Happy as a bear”, “Hungry as a bear”, “Chewy around the World”, “Lily in Magicland”, “Chewy's Treasure Hunt” and “Animal Friends” children’s series purchased in Europe, Villeroy & Boch grants a 2-year breakage guarantee from the date of purchase.

If a porcelain item from the Villeroy & Boch “Walk like an elephant”, “Roar like a lion”, “Happy as a Bear”, Hungry as a Bear”, “Chewy around the World”, “Lily in Magicland”, “Chewy’s Treasure Hunt” or “Animal Friends” children’s series breaks within a period of 2 years from purchase, under this guarantee, we will provide a free of charge replacement within Europe. If the items in question are no longer included in our range, we will supply a similar product of our choice of equivalent value from the current range or we will refund you the purchase price.

The Villeroy & Boch guarantee does not affect your statutory rights and – provided these are more favourable for the end customer – these statutory rights shall not be restricted by the guarantee.

The Villeroy & Boch guarantee also does not affect the right of the first customer and, if applicable, the consumer against the seller from whom the first customer purchased the product.

The Villeroy & Boch guarantee is subject to German law. The place of performance for the obligations arising from the Villeroy & Boch guarantee is Mettlach, Germany. Where legally permitted, the place of jurisdiction shall be agreed as the head office of Villeroy & Boch.
